The Almeria region of southern Spain is becoming a popular rural retreat for many British families and ex-pats. However it's rugged landscape and southern proximity can cause difficulties when trying to receive UK satellite broadcasts such a Sky.
Not only will you need a larger satellite dish to that common in the UK but the type of satellite receiver or LNB used can make a big difference.
It is not uncommon for neighbouring houses to experience noticeably different results with similar equipment. We have over six years personal experience with satellite installations in Almeria and we wish to share our knowledge.
